Poco antes de partir hacia Vancouver, quedamos para tomar un café con los chicos de Casa Josephine, Iñigo y Pablo. Casa Josephine es un agradable alojamiento rural situado en Sorzano, un pueblecito en plena Rioja. Tuve la oportunidad de pasar allí unos dias hace unos años y la experiencia fue genial. Para empezar, la casa esta decorada con extremo gusto y delicadeza, atendiendo a los detalles y siempre sin perder la perspectiva del entorno y, para seguir, decir que está en una de las zonas vinícolas mas conocidas del mundo, y a un tiro de piedra del País Vasco, con lo que las excursiones a bodegas, las salidas a comer o cenar o simplemente a pasear por el campo, cobran especial interés.

Pero no solo esto, porque Casa Josephine es una fábrica de ideas, no paran, y no solo es alojamiento rural lo que allí cuece. Shortly before leaving to Vancouver, we met for coffee with the fellows from Casa Josephine, Iñigo and Pablo. Casa Josephine is a beautiful (oh my gosh) countryside home in Sorzano, a village situated amongst the Rioja vineyards. Along the lines of a bed and breakfast...but more, and bigger, and better. Juanma had the opportunity to spend some days there years ago...and I can't wait (NO puedo), to check it out myself the next time we're back. The location (wine tours, beautiful Spanish countryside), the decor (these boys have GOOD taste)...the details...i'm concocting a plan right now, as i'm writing this...of how to round up the troops for a group holiday here. So lovely.

And....there's more! After meeting with Iñigo and Pablo we quickly learned that they're up to ALL sorts of interesting and amazing things, with many other (ongoing and new) projects and ideas up their sleeves. So we will be featuring them again, on Phewf, in the context of some of their other projects...thank you Iñigo and Pablo! For being such good'ers...resourceful, talented, and delightful.
